Mark-Viggo Krogsgaard is a Danish actor, entrepreneur and trained carpenter. He graduated in 2015 from the three-year acting program at Copenhagen Acting School (formerly Ophelia Acting School).
Mark-Viggo began his professional career as a carpenter, starting his apprenticeship at the age of 15 and qualifying as a journeyman carpenter at 19. Alongside his acting career, he is the founder and owner of Mark-Viggo Haandvaerk ApS, a Danish construction company.
His screen work includes The Way to Mandalay, directed by Ole Bornedal, as well as productions directed by Lasse Spang Olsen. He has also appeared in the Danish television series 29, and in the short films Kein Problem and De Bedste År. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with directors including Ole Bornedal, Magnus Millang, Emil Millang, Lasse Spang Olsen, and Jen Krause. He has additionally appeared in a number of commercial campaigns, including several for PostNord.
On stage, Mark-Viggo appeared in The Brothers Lionheart at Teatret Zeppelin and co-created and performed in the stage production Der Hvor Solen Går Ned with Teater1760.
In January 2026, Mark-Viggo was diagnosed with cancer. Following surgery and rehabilitation, he was declared cancer-free later that year. He has since returned to both acting and his work in the construction industry.
Mark-Viggo is the father of three daughters and lives in Denmark with his partner, actress and screenwriter Louise Kilhof. He continues to work across film, television, theatre and commercial productions.
