- David Hallberg is a principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Company. He was born in Rapid City, South Dakota in 1982. He began his formal ballet training at age 13 at the Arizona Ballet School in Phoenix AZ.
Hallberg joined ABT Studio Company in September 2000 and became a member of the Corps de Ballet of American Ballet Theatre in April 2001. He was promoted to soloist in January 2004 and to Principal Dancer in May 2006.
