  • André Lourido is a Portuguese actor known for The Darkening (2024), Road to Nowhere (2023), Último a Sair (2011) and Depois do Adeus (2013).

    He studied Meisner Technique with actor, writer and director John Frey, in Lisbon, alongside other important names in Portuguese theatre and cinema, such as Sandra Celas, Tiago Fernandes and Francisco Côrte-Real.



    In 2011 he participates in Último a Sair (2011), acting alongside Miguel Damião and in 2013 he's in 2 episodes of Depois do Adeus (2013), a series that portrays Portugal in the aftermath of April 25th, with actors José Carlos Garcia, Joaquim Nicolau and Dinarte Branco .

    Having graduated in Languages, Literatures and Cultures from Évora University, he co-created the University's group TEIA, where he played the role of Peardrop, a breeder of polyhedra, in the inaugural play "Ubu Cuckolded", by Alfred Jarry. He has also starred in other theatre plays, such as Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Cervantes's "The Magic Theatre".

    He moved to London at the end of 2013, where he continued his artistic learning, having returned to Portugal in 2023.

    He now resides in Lisbon, where he continues to embrace new projects and to grow as an actor, artist and performer.

    André Lourido has dual citizenship with Portugal and the United Kingdom.
