Biography

Stephanie Troyak is an actress, dancer, and choreographer working across film, television, and theater. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, she began performing at a young age, starring in "Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front," and later trained at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

She is widely known for starring in New York’s hit immersive Off-Broadway production Sleep No More, and for her work as a soloist with Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, where she performed internationally for five years. Her stage work earned her a nomination for Germany’s prestigious Faust Award for Best Dancer/Actress for her leading role in The Seven Deadly Sins, and recognition as a Dance Magazine "25 to Watch."

On screen, Stephanie held a two-season recurring guest role on Netflix’s "Greenhouse Academy," with additional television credits including "The Girlfriend Experience." She will star in the widely anticipated "The Bride!" directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Stephanie is a dual U.S./Canadian citizen and is based in New York.
