Biography

Emily is an award winning actor and writer passionate about bringing stories to life. Born and raised in New York, Emily moved to Los Angeles shortly after receiving her BFA in drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She also had the privilege of living in London while studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She's narrated more than 450 audiobooks for Macmillan, Harper Collins, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Hachette, and many others. She's also worked in film, television, and theater. Her greatest strength as a performer is her ability to bring herself to the role, creating a wide range of emotionally resonant performances that leap off the page, stage, or screen. Her favorite characters are complicated, conflicted, and still searching for their inner truths. She has a special love for villains and anti-heroes.

Emily brings her deep understanding of character and relationships to her writing, creating stories that explore the core of what it means to be human. In addition to being a writer on the TV Movie A Moving Romance, Emily has also been hired to write a yet to be produced pilot and a feature film. Emily's film, Being Val, which she wrote, produced, and starred in won a Remi Award from Worldfest Houston International Film Festival. She's also the published co-author of three books about key figures in early 20th century American history which she wrote after more than a decade of volunteering at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum in New York.

Emily's other passions include traveling, LARPing, aerial cirque, and chocolate.
