Biography

Born and raised in Taunton, Massachusetts, New York City artist Michael Lawrence has been professionally directing and producing music videos for the past three years. In that time, Michael both directed and produced music videos for Athena Reich: "The Logical Song", Josh Zuckerman: "Fall in Love Again", J. Michael Reeds: "Caramel" and "Unwell" and Aiden Leslie: "Trying to Leave Now"

Nominated for Outstanding Video of the Year at the Out Music Awards In 2010, "The Logical Song" premiered on MTV''s LOGO and Curve Magazine. "Fall In Love Again" premiered on MTV's LOGO NewNowNext PopLab, and debuted on The Click List, MTV.com and VH1.com in the fall of 2010. Most of Michael Lawrence's work is designed in collaboration with acclaimed dancer and choreographer, Maria Colaco.

In 2011, Michael worked as Stage Manager for Maria Colaco's stage production of "Eye Candy".

Prior to working in film, Michael earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a minor in Photography from Marymount Manhattan College in 2008.
