- Tara has a unique ability to spot and develop talent, which is a good knack to have in an executive producer. She's a southerner with a New York vibe, having worked both.
With Mean St Productions, she managed an international sales force, resulting in tripling the number of commercial directors. She was also part of the team that developed and launched Alton Brown's 'Good Eats', the Food Network smash series.
With her own boutique firm, Pogo Pictures, she won national recognition for her major brands spot campaigns (i.e. Coca Cola, Kraft).
She is also a partner in Big Canoe Productions, which along with Trick 3D, produced 'Elf on the Shelf: An Elf's Story.' The 3D animated Christmas special premiered on CBS in 2011 and was the top-rated show. The DVD and gift set are top sellers on Amazon and B&N, promising to make "Elf" this generation's own "Heat Miser."
Current 2015 projects include 'Dance Crash' pilot for OWN, and another dance show concept for UPtv. Tara was educated at FSU, NYU, and the real world.
