Rachelle Henry is an award winning American actress and filmmaker. At the age of six, she began her acting career and has been pursuing her goals ever since.
Rachelle won Best Teen Actress in a Short Film at the 38th Young Artist Awards in 2017 for her performance in Jersey Gurl (2016) and starred in the short film, Grifters (2016), for which she won Best Young Actress - Short Film at the The 2nd Annual Young Entertainer Awards (2017). The short film Losing It (2017), starring Rachelle as Sarah Newton, premiered as an Official Selection of the 2017 Slamdance Film Festival and was listed among the best short films at the Film de Cannes Short Film Corner. Rachelle appears in several projects which premiered in 2018 including My Summer as a Goth (2018) and Woodstock or Bust (2018).
Rachelle Henry appeared alongside Christina Applegate in the final season of the popular Netflix series, Dead to Me (2019) Rachelle’s portrayal of a young woman with a similar background to Jen Harding (Applegate) causes a moment of reflection for the protagonist as she navigates a difficult chapter in her life. Rachelle considers her interaction with Applegate to be one of her most rewarding acting experiences to date.
In addition, Rachelle plays Annie, a young woman on vacation who befriends protagonist Dina Fox, in the AppleTV Original, The Mosquito Coast (2021) starring Justin Theroux. Rachelle had the opportunity to film her Season 2 Episodes 9 and 10 on location in Tulum, Mexico.
As an award-winning actress, host, and filmmaker with over a decade of experience in the film industry, Rachelle Henry has worked with some of Hollywood’s top stars. She appeared in the STARZ Watergate drama series, Gaslit (2022) starring Oscar winners Julia Roberts and Sean Penn, and Kelly Sullivan in the feature film, Martingale (2024).
Rachelle graduated with her Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing Magna Cum Laude in June 2022. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Along with her experience in the film industry, Rachelle is a cardiopulmonary technician with certifications as an EKG/Monitor Technician and is a licensed phlebotomist. Rachelle believes that knowledge is power and is continuing her educational pursuits. She hopes to eventually combine her interests in health science with her passion for media.
Rachelle is an advocate of animal rescue organizations as well as those benefiting women and children who are fighting cancer. She participates in 5K Runs supporting charitable organizations and has worked as a crew member building micro houses for the homeless.
