Vladimir Politov was born on December 6, 1970 in the village Batagai, Yakutsk (Sakha) republic of the USSR. From an early age during his study of music he showed great promise, notably picking up both the guitar and clarinet quickly and excelling greatly in both instruments. In 1987 he entered the Riga Institute of Civil Aviation, but upon three years of dedication there Vladimir found that he was drawn back to the arts and moved to Moscow where he beginning to work on various commercial projects.

In 1990, after cruel auditions, Vladimir successfully won the spot of bass player in the wildly popular boy band "Na-Nax". He became famous in 1991 with the song "Faina", and the following hit music video for the same song earned him the title of sex symbol of Russia for many years. During his time in the "Na-Nax" Vladimir took part in a recoded breaking 10,000 sold-out concerts in 30 countries, performing songs in many languages, including Russian, English, French, Persian (Farsi), Thai, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Kazakh and Chinese. As a member of the group Na-Nax, Vlad performed in many war areas around the globe including international peace concerts in Chechnya in 1995-1997 and in Belgrade (Yugoslavia) in 1999.

While performing in the band in 2004, Vladimir created his own DJ-project «PS - Project », and to this day he is a welcomed guest and much requested performer in many famous international dance clubs. Never an artist to have a narrow focus, Vlad's musical styles for his DJ projects can be described as Trance, Deep House, Progressive House, Minimal and ACID tech. As DJ Vladimir has successfully performed in a number of the largest music festivals both in Russia and around the world. Vladimir is the only DJ in Russia with a title of Honored Artist of Russia.

As a member of the band, Vladimir Politov won 12 national music awards "Ovation", including: 1994 - "Pop Group of the Year" . 1994 - "Hit of the Year" - "Faina" . 1995 - "Pop Group of the Year" . 1995 - "Hit of the Year" - "Hat" . 1997 - "Promoting domestic pop music" . 1998 - "Pop Group of the Year" . 2001 - "The best pop group of the Decade" . 2008 - "Legend".

April 26, 1998, Russian aristocratic society has granted the title of Count to Vladimir. In 2001 by the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Politov received the title of Honored Artist of Russia.

Vladimir Politov was awarded by the All-Russian Academy of Literature Pushkin Medal for his contribution to Russian culture. Vladimir was awarded the highest award of the Russian Orthodox Church - the Order of St.. A.Nevskij Among the awards - Medal of Lomonosov, for strengthening the Russian State. In 2008 Politov received awards : the medal "For Service in the North Caucasus" and "For devotion to duty and the Fatherland" (for his performances with peace mission in hot spots).
