- He graduated economy at Belgrade University and first worked at the bank. Later in 1994 he founded his own insurance company Globos Osigiranje, one of the first private insurance companies in Serbia and Yugoslavia. He established publishing house Globosino Aleksandrija with his wife writer Ljiljana Habjanovic Djurovic in 2003. He went into film production in 2009 when his son director Hadzi-Aleksandar Djurovic established film production company Aleksandrija Film.
