Makeda Declet

Declet is a native New Yorker, growing up primarily in the East New York Section of Brooklyn. She holds an MFA from Northwestern University and a BFA from New York University. Declet received her first major recurring role as the earthy, spiritual hippie Summer on "Tyler Perry's House of Payne". She works as a filmmaker, playwright, and actor based out of both Chicago and LA.
