- Floriane Andersen is an award-winning French-American actress, director, and producer based in Los Angeles, working across film, television, and theatre in both French and English.
Her acting credits include Shiddat (Hulu), where she played the main antagonist, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey (Netflix), and Trigger Happy (Amazon Prime). She has also appeared on television in Elite Squad (TF1) and Vengeance (France 2), and on stage in Shakespeare’s Henry V and Much Ado About Nothing with Antic Disposition, as well as Radiant Vermin by Philip Ridley. She recently won Best Actress at the Pasadena International Film Festival for her performance as a schizophrenic mother in the short film Pas Vraiment Ordinaire.
She is trained in stage combat, stunt work, and dance (ballet, contemporary, and street jazz), and is also a singer-songwriter.
As a director, her short film Unforgotten received the Best Directing Award at the Burbank International Film Festival. She is developing a feature-length dark comedy titled RATtled, with a proof of concept in post-production.
Andersen is the co-founder of Artak Pictures, an all-female production company based in the US dedicated to elevating diverse and underrepresented voices. Through Artak, she has executive produced Wish You Were Here (dir. Julia Stiles, Lionsgate), I Live Here Now (dir. Julie Pacino, Utopia), Perfect, starring Julia Fox, and The Stalemate, starring Ben Foster and Fiona Shaw.
