Gerard Mack is an award-winning film composer and sound designer based in Melbourne, Australia. He earned his undergraduate music degree from Melbourne University and pursued a post-graduate degree in Composition with a focus on film and TV. Gerard owns Cacophony Studios, a surround sound mixing and post-production facility. Since 1999, he has composed music for feature films, short films, TV series, jingles, and games and has received numerous awards for best score and best sound design at international festivals. In 2024, his work was featured in multiple films on platforms such as Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and Tubi, where he was credited as a composer or sound designer. Gerard has also been a judge for best sound and best score at the AFI AACTA awards in Australia. Additionally, he has served as a musical director and conductor for various orchestras, musicals, stage productions, and choirs. In 2019, he received a scholarship to study under Hollywood Composer Christopher Young at the GEMS master class in Madrid, Spain.Gerard Mack
