Junya Ishii(I)

Actor/Dancer. Born in Saitama, in 1983 and grew up in Mexico-city and Toronto. Junya Ishii has been working across the fields of dance, theatre and film. His interest is to discover the state of consciousness and unconsciousness, state of being through the body and its perception. In '09, he moved to Budapest to explore performing art and to work for Theatre JEL by choreographer/ surrealist, Josef Nadj. He has lived in Yokohama, since 2014. He plays the leading role of 2045 Carnival Folklore by Naoki Kato, which premiered at Seattle International Film Festival 2015.
