Jirjes Jbarah

Though he started acting at a late age, Gerges Jbara obtained wide recognition quickly with his beautiful acting and lovable characters. He is known for his comic roles and his ability to make people laugh. Gerges who was born in Lattakia, Syria in January 21, 1945 started his career in 1994 with "Nihayat Rajol Shoja' " and "Aylet 5 Njoum" and appeared then in its sequels (Aylet 6,7,8 Njoum). He took part also in many other works such as the famous drama series "Bab Al-Hara", "Sayein Dayein, "Bokaat Daw", "Maraya", and "Yawmiyat Modir 'Am". His portrayal of Abo Nader in the comic work "Dayaa Dayaa" also brought him huge fame. Now at the age of 71 Gerges is still performing and doing what he loves most.
