Santiago Ortiz-Monasterio is an award-winning producer and writer based in Mexico City. He's known for his supervising producer work on "Búnker" (HBO MAX) and "Coyotl" (HBO MAX), this last one being the highest-budget series ever filmed by the streamer for the Latin-American market.
On the visual effects side, he won an Ariel for "Aztech", which is one of Mexico's first locally-produced sci-fi films. On the independent side, he's produced movies like the psychologically complex "Octopus Skin" and the audience-frightening "Infection". Ortiz-Monasterio is a graduate of Mexico's prestigious CCC producing program (Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica).
