Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Laventa was born in 1955 in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. She is an actress, known for Vivir en Sevilla (1978), Corridas de alegría (1982) and Esta noche (1981).

Her stage name comes from her birthplace, an inn in Seville called &quot;La Venta de la Ranilla&quot;. She was always known as &quot;Laventa&quot;.

A pioneer of new flamenco music, she recorded three albums for Discos CBS (Madrid) from 1978 to 1981.
