  • Jhonson Simeon is a United States Military Veteran, American film director, editor, writer and videographer. Simeon is a Miami, Florida native attending high school at Miami Central Senior High. After graduating high school, Simeon enlisted into the United States Marine Corps as Combat Camera (4671 Combat Videographer).

    During his military career, Simeon attended the Defense Information School (DINFOS) in Fort Meade, MD where he learned basic videography and film editing. Simeon deployed with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (15th MEU) in 2010 where he took part in the joint humanitarian assistance operation for 2010 Pakistan floods. After his deployment, he entered his short documentary on the Pakistan Floods into the Visual Information Awards Program (VIAP), an awards program that recognizes and reward excellence among military photographers, videographers, journalist, mass communication specialist and graphic artist, winning third place for "best combat documentary". Simeon also took great initiative towards his passion to becoming a filmmaker during his military career by creating his first short film "Apart of Our Relationship" which was selected into the 2012 San Diego Black Film Festival and nominated for best dramatic short. Simeon also went to create a short documentary called "MV22: An Advanced MAGTF" a documentary based on the implementation of MV22 Ospreys in the Marine Corps.

    After his military career, Jhonson Simeon went on to obtain Bachelor's of Science in Film.
