  • Vijay Krishna was born in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

    His Hindi debut was with Avrodh: The Siege Within (2020) on SonyLIV, where he played one of the leads, Capt. Imtiaz. The series premiered in June 2022 and marked a significant shift in his on-screen journey. His indie films, Ped (The Tree) (2021) and Mithyam - The False Truth, were screened at the Cannes Film Market in 2022. His first mainstream film project - The Kerala Story (2023) - where he played the antagonist, Ishaq, released theatrically in May 2023 and went on to gross over 300 crores worldwide. Following that, he played the antagonist again in Bastar: The Naxal Story (2024), a political thriller directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. In BTS: Behind the Scenes (2024), an indie Kannada film, he explores the world behind the camera. The film received strong critical acclaim, resonating especially well with filmmakers and cinephiles. He played the lead, Akash, in Doora Theera Yaana (2025), a Kannada Romance-Drama feature film that released theatrically across Karnataka. It was a personal milestone, allowing him to fully embrace the creative and professional challenges of leading a film.

    He has bachelor's in Art History from the reputed, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad, Bangalore. He has worked in Theatre across India for over 15 years before starting his career in Film.
