Dustin Finerty

Dustin Finerty is an actor, writer, and producer from Victoria, B.C. Canada where he lives with his wife, writer, director and producer Kelly Finerty and their two sons. Dustin began studying film at the Victoria Motion Picture School, graduating with distinction in the screen acting program in 2004 and quickly snagged roles in several short and feature films. Beginning in 2015 Dustin began creating his own projects starting with the short film 13 Days (2015) which he wrote, directed, and produced; Imitates Life (2021) as co-writer and producer along with Kelly Finerty, winning best picture at the Qualicum film festival; and Life with Dotty (2025) serving as a producer and actor. Today, Dustin continues to act in various short and feature films and is a co-owner of the BC based production company Typewriter Rebellion along with his wife Kelly, where they focus on writing and producing compelling independent film projects.
