Marisa Serrano

Marisa Serrano is a makeup artist who specializes in film, television, and still photography. She also has worked in the wardrobe/costume department. Marisa began her career in entertainment as a young child studying dance, and performing in children's theatre, this was the foundation for her practical makeup education. As a young adult, she continued her study of dance in community college and began studying and practicing costume construction. As her performing career evolved, so did her study of makeup. As she ventured into a multi-faceted career that included work as a dancer, model, and even some acting, a desire to pursue a career as a makeup artist FOR models and actors (instead of AS one), emerged. Present day, Marisa almost never takes bookings as a model or dancer, however she enjoys working full time as a freelance makeup artist for various projects for film, television, and photography.
