Biography

Alessandro Lussiana is an Italian actor, mostly for theatre but frequently working in movies and TV series produced in Italy; he is also a dubber for cinema, television and video-games, and a radio and advertising speaker. He was born in Trujillo, Peru, in 1980, but at six months he was adopted and grew up in Turin, Italy, where he graduated in 2006 from the acting school of the Teatro Stabile di Torino, founded by Luca Ronconi and directed by Mauro Avogadro. At the theater he is directed among others by Claudio Longhi, Serena Sinigaglia, Michele di Mauro, Mauro Avogadro, Valter Malosti, Monica Conti, Massimo Scaglione, Adriana Innocenti, Beppe Navello and Jean Claude Penchenant, Marco Plini, Massimo Castri, Federico Tiezzi, Teresa Ludovico, Elio De Capitani and Ferdinando Bruni. In theatre he is best known for his roles in the Italian adaptations of "Frig" (Lars Norén), "The history boys" (Alan Bennet), "Occident Express" (Matei Visniec), "After the end" (Dennis Kelly), "Gli occhiali d'oro" (Giorgio Bassani) and "Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes" (Tony Kushner).
