Biography

Claire Jane is an actor with extensive training and experience both on camera and on stage+ While growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, she fine tuned her wild imagination and love for play. After landing a modeling contract with Wilhelmina in New York City , she enjoyed a successful career as an international model that allowed her to live and work abroad in Athens, Milano, Hamburg, Sydney, and Shanghai. With New York City as her home base, Claire was able to study under the tutelage of Suzanne Esper at the William Esper Conservatory for the Meisner technique. Simultaneously, Claire studied long form improv at Upright Citizens Brigade. The ability to connect both techniques gives her a unique edge to share the truth in her work/play. Claire Jane broke into the indie film scene with supporting roles in the drama, Dutch Kills and the comedy, A Stand Up Guy. As a creator & writer, Claire is drawn to dramedy. Her recent short film, "The Wing", inspired by a pilot that she co-wrote based on her hometown of Queen City, Cincinnati is making it's way through film festivals. Claire Jane continues her career as a model and recently signed (again) with Wilhelmina fulfilling a full circle moment. Claire Jane was a part of an all female improv sketch comedy group called Candy Slice Comedy. The Candy Slicers performed monthly improv shows in NYC and the seven members have created over fifty sketch videos that still live on YouTube.
