Biography

Verena King is the founder and president of Verena King Public Relations and King Social, LLC. King is originally from the Los Angeles area and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1995. She began her media career as a sales assistant at Clear Channel Radio's KSNE-FM and KQOL-FM while studying criminal justice and pre-law. Five years and several promotions later, King landed the position of Director of Marketing and Promotions for KSNE-FM, Sunny 106.5, and directed all 4-station cluster events.

After 7 years as a member of the press with a strong music background, King decided to venture into entertainment public relations, ultimately opening Verena King PR, a public relations and social media specialty firm. Within 4 years, she expanded the business to Los Angeles and the film industry. In 2015, King founded King Social, LLC, a social media marketing and publicity company focused primarily on small business and corporate growth.

For more than 24 years, King has worked with and promoted high-profile celebrities and entertainers on a local and national level. She specializes in building strategic campaigns and successfully garnering media attention for up-and-coming talent.

King has had the pleasure of promoting such talents as actors Laura Dern, Josh Duhamel, Maria Bello, Val Kilmer, Kenny Johnson, Lucas Till, Tom Everett Scott, Robert Davi and Bruce Boxleitner, feature film producers Jay Hoffman, Danny Rodriguez and Rick Dugdale, feature film directors Daniel Duran, Daniel Petrie Jr. and Frederic Lumiere, burlesque artist Dita Von Teese, and Alvin and the Chipmunks' Ross Bagdasarian Jr.

In a committed relationship with actor Bruce Boxleitner since January of 2013. In February of 2016, they announced their engagement and on October 5, 2016, they were married in a private ceremony on Oahu, Hawaii.

King is a certified sailor and an avid boater.

A ballet and modern jazz dancer from 6 years old until age 19. She quit due to a back injury.

Has owned her own publicity firm, Verena King Public Relations, since 2008. Founded the social media company, King Social, LLC in June of 2015 and serves as President.
