- Chip Warren is a director, producer, and writer based in Budapest. His documentary work has been seen on MSNBC, A&E, the BBC, Channel 4, and Discovery International and has been recognized with a Gracie Allen Award, a Crystal Clarion Award, and a PASS Award. Credits include Young Kids, Hard Time (co-director), They Call Us Monsters, Kings of the Yukon, and two seasons of David Rudolf's Abuse of Power for Amazon/Audible.
As a Cultural Envoy with the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, he produced a series of short films on Ukrainian culinary and music culture.
He is directing The Unfinished Legacy of Bullet Shih, a feature documentary about an artist who abandoned Wall Street to live as a painter in Budapest, and who died as his work was gaining momentum.
His debut novel, With Love, Budapest, is forthcoming in 2026.
