Biography

Jake L. Reid was born in Bristol hailing from the same school as Hollywood legend Cary Grant. He studied a BA Hons in Filmmaking at the University of the West of England before writing and directing his award winning debut feature film The Antwerp Dolls. Jake established Liberal Region Productions to facilitate the production of the film, which screened at the Garden State Film Festival and the Golden Door International Film Festival respectively. Recently, Jake was nominated for the International Achievement Award for Best Director (2016) in addition to directing several short films. In 2018, Jake start the next stage of his career with the development of several feature films including Bharal, starring Sebastien Foucan and Kelsey Grammer.
