- Won the U.S. National Squash Junior Championship in his sophomore year at Harvard, and in 1964 he won the National Intercollegiate Individual squash championship. He played No. 1 for Harvard during his college career, and each year Harvard won the Ivy League title. In 1965, he then won every major amateur tournament.
