Trent Kendrick is a filmmaker, actor and producer raised in a small town in southwest Kansas. At 17, he signed with a modeling agency in New York City and, following his debut with Hugo Boss, began an international modeling career.
Kendrick later stepped away from modeling to attend the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Film & Television Production. After graduation, he wrote and directed a short film for the Los Angeles LGBT Center that garnered millions of views online and contributed to a major fundraising campaign for the construction of its homeless youth center.
He subsequently worked with director Roland Emmerich on White House Down and served as an associate producer on Stonewall. Kendrick made his feature directorial debut with F.L.Y., which he co-wrote, directed, produced and starred in. The film premiered at Outfest Los Angeles in 2023 and went on to screen at more than 20 film festivals, earning multiple awards, including the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at FilmOut San Diego. F.L.Y. was acquired for distribution by Breaking Glass Pictures.
