Ana Paula Mendes is a Brazilian producer associated to the women-led production company Novelo Filmes. Mendes started working as a development producer in 2009 and served as a content analyst for TV Globo. Produced several short films officially selected for main festivals such as Inside Out, Outfest, Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Rio Int'l Film Festival, Hong Kong Int'l Film Festival, Uruguay Int'l Film Festival and Cinélatino Rencontres de Toulouse, Cartagena Film Festival - and feature documentaries aired on Al Jazeera International, History Channel Brasil and ESPN Brasil. Ana Paula Mendes is a member of UPEX (Brazilian Executive Producers Union) and Queer Producers Network. Ana holds a degree in Film (UNISUL, 2009) and a specialization in Entertainment Law (UERJ, 2011).
