Nicola Liguori

Nicola Liguori, born in 1984. Art is in his blood: he has had a taste for cinema since he was a boy thanks to his uncle Albino Cocco, assistant director and right-hand man to Luchino Visconti, and to his aunt Annamaria Liguori, renowned script supervisor. At the age of 24 he and Tommaso Ranchino came up with the International Short Film Festival "Corti and Cigarettes" to give young talents the chance to express themselves and come into contact with the world of film. Over the years he became General Director of the Festival, giving life to an event that has become established on the national scene thanks to its eight editions.
At the same time, after a fortuitous meeting with Prof. Girolamo Sirchia, former Minister of Health, he began his career as an executive producer by producing his first work, "Rosso Vivo", at the age of only 27. Over time he has developed his organisational and production skills, helping MP Film open up to different contexts and settings. He was awarded the Young Italy Award for his work in film.
He's a President of the company MP FILM (www.mpfilm.it). MP FILM is a leader in the field of film production related to the world of health and social communication. It also deals with the design, organisation and production of live events and communication campaigns with high artistic content Founded in 2011 by Nicola Liguori and Tommaso Ranchino, it is based in Rome, Italy, with offices in Milan and in the United States in Miami, Florida.
