Vitold was born in Lublin, Poland. During a nine years period from 1995
he attended music school, where he was taught to play two instruments:
the violin and the piano. When he left the school in 2004, he joined
the local theatre group 'Panopticum'. After the first contact with an
acting field, he felt an urge to follow that path and decided to apply
to an university. Firstly, he studied Culture Animator and Manager with
Theatre specialization at the Maria Curie Sklodowska University in
Lublin. During the classes he had plenty of possibilities to develop my
skills in acting and directing. In 2007, after performing in numerous
plays - e.g. 'Inaczej' (2009) directed by Dorota Zaniuk and 'Listy do
Olgi' (2010) directed by Dominika Piwowarczyk - he graduated with the
Bechelor's degree with his own play 'Widmokrag' based on a novel by
Wojeciech Kuczok. In 2010 he performed in an advertisement for the
ElectricNights Festival and then, in 2011, he played a leading role in
the short movie Stranger directed by Karol M. Kowalski, which was shown
at a few independent movie festivals across Poland. In 2012 he moved to
Cracow, where he enrolled for Drama in the Cracow Schools of Art and
Fashion Design. Starting in November 2013, they have played 'Umarli ze
Spoon River' based on Edgar Lee Masters' 'Spoon River Anthology' and
directed by Jan Korwin Kochanowski. Next year he will finish the polish
acting school and he is going to move to London to deepen his skills in
the Meisner technique.
