Biography

After graduating from Goshen College in Goshen, IN with a B.A. in visual art (ceramics/Sculpting) and minor in theater design, Sarah moved to Chicago, IL where she started working with The Right Brain Project for 4.5 years. Between work with the RBP and other companies she helped produced, designed costumes, props, set and/or makeup/hair on over 30 shows She also worked with Signal Ensemble Theater, Strawdog Theatre Company and Provision Theatre as well as others. in 2010 Sarah Elizabeth moved to Vancouver, BC to study at Vancouver Film School in the Makeup Design for TV and film program where she graduated top of her class and with honors and continues to live and work on various indy and union work.

Since graduating she has been working in Vancouver on various TV, Film and short film projects currently working with A Filthy Lot Entertainment as their Department Head and Designer for Makeup, FX and Hair. AFL produces YouTube, Twitch and TikTok content.

Sarah has worked on iZombie S3,4, VanHelsing S1, 3 &4, WuAssassins(built (99%) and applied most prosthetics), Travelers S2, Station 11 and many other shows. She has worked both in shop and on set with most of the MUFX shops in town (Masters FX, Schmenkin FX, WCT) and runs her own little shop for small projects in between things.

Sarah has been nominated for 4 Leo's as a Department head with two wins.

SarahE was a contestant on Season 3 of SYFY's makeup reality TV show FACE OFF. Where she made it to the top 5, and was asked back for the finale where she helped sculpt, build costumes, mold, apply and paint on Nicole Chilleli's team, who won season 3.

Sarah Elizabeth is a member with IATSE 891, ACFC 2020 and permit with IATSE 873.
