Yonago in Tottori Prefecture is a bustling small town on the sea of Japan and where Yamamoto Maika was born on October 13th, 1997. She entered the ranks of professionals when she became the fourteenth Mitsui ReHouse girl in 2011. Rehouse is a Japanese realty. She obtained a small screen role next and subsequently moved to Tokyo the year after while still studying to complete high school. She became a model for Nicola fashion magazine in 2013. She cut her hair and played the ugly and antagonistic girl to Komatsu Nana's sympathetic character in the remake of After The Rain. She was subsequently cast in the Tokyo Ghoul sequel for 2019. Maika is managed by the Biz talent agency.
