Biography

April Denée is a writer, filmmaker, and owner of March Blake Media. She produces, directs, and edits both short and feature documentaries focused on arts, culture, and personal biography. Her client list includes Knight Foundation, Arts & Science Council of Charlotte-Mecklenburg, The Charlotte Observer, and Charlotte Viewpoint Magazine. April is also the founder of the Buskapalooza Street Performance Festival, which is attached to her film project BUSK! - a character documentary about street artists and performers in Charlotte, North Carolina.
