Biography

Amber Katori Wilson was born in Wimbledon, London, 1974 as Claudine Amanda Williams and is the daughter of Jamaican parents Mary Wilson and Henry Williams and is the Mother of Dancer and Art Designer Channelle Williams. She trained in Surrey and graduated in Theatre and Performing Arts and currently works as an actress, dancer, singer, model, writer and supporting artist. Amber returned to her creative career in 2009 after 6 years of ill health and is strengthening skills in comedy, singing, film and television presenting. She also continues to perform on stage supporting educational, community and charity projects. Amber will always whenever possible develop theatre as a force for change and empowerment and participate with dance as a form of expression.
