Alexei is a stage/screen actor born and raised in NYC. After training at the Barrow Group (Seth Barrish), T. Schreiber Studios (Peter Jensen) and the Michael Chekhov Studio (Lenard Petit), Alexei performed off-Broadway in back-to-back lead roles that included the well received character role of "Michal" in "The Pillowman" and an activist Catholic priest in Nylon Fusion Collective's original production of "Incendiary Agents". Transitioning to screen acting, Alexei starred in a number of independent shorts, including an Iraq war veteran in "The Exterminator" opposite Anthony Chisholm of "Oz". He also co-wrote and co-starred in "The Session" which one 1st prize at the 2016 Montreal International Film Festival. Most recently, he can be seen in his series regular role as a Russian SVR agent in "Condor" Season 2 (Epix), starring in the short film "Tito" (in festivals), and in an upcoming guest star role on The Equalizer (season 5). Despite his name and some SAG credits as Slavic type characters, Alexei is 100% born and bred in NYC is half Irish. He has also trained and performed at NYC's Magnet Theater.
