Biography

Aneta Ptak - Kuszelewicz is a Polish director and colorist. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, she earned her PhD from the Cinematography Department of the Lodz Film School, (2026) she is completing graduate studies in Film Directing at the same institution. She represents a multi-generational legacy of visual innovation as the daughter of cinematographer Krzysztof Ptak and colorist Malgorzata Ptak. Her debut feature documentary, "Birdie" (2026, in production), received significant industry recognition at the development stage, including the HBO Max Award at the East Doc Platform and the Golden Funnel Award at Ex Oriente Film. As a DI colorist, she operates Laokoon Lab, specializing in advanced color management and cinematic finishing for international productions. She is bridging the gap between precise technical engineering and artistic storytelling.
