- He was a musician who worked with many of the biggest names in rock music. As lead guitarist with Joe Cocker and the Grease Band, he was the only Irishman to play at Woodstock. He was invited to join Wings after auditioning for Paul McCartney, and spent 18 months recording and touring with the band. He played lead guitar on the original recording of "Jesus Christ Superstar".
