Biography

Ash Smith is a Hong Kong native, starting her acting and professional modeling career in Los Angeles and the UK At the age of 13, she received contracts in Paris and Amsterdam. Her parents are both in show business as well, her father having been a bassist for BB King, Muddy Waters and Little Feet. Her mother is a documentary filmmaker and producer. At a very young age, Ash worked on several "Movies of the Week", and feature films including the first American appearance of Hugh Grant on network TV!

While living in Hong Kong, Paris and Amsterdam she did numerous modeling spreads for Chinese Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and did commercials for clothing clients including American Apparel. She began acting more while still a teenager living in Bangkok, and was cast in several Hollywood features.

Ash is comfortable traveling and working in many different cultures as the project demands.
