Biography

Born in a tiny town in Southeastern Connecticut, Robert Started off from humble beginnings. Surviving shelters, motels, and living in a neighborhood he could only describe as "Classy; in a Vietnam sort of way"

Rob Lewis later took doing stand up on a regular basis in NYC and Philadelphia in January of 2009 and has been pounding the pavement ever since. This included NBC's Last Comic Standing (2010), and becoming one of the youngest members of the new talent program at Gotham Comedy Club in NYC. He also has been in several short films including the recent Philadelphia Film Festival (2012) Submission "Max Thrust."

Has a Bachelors in Communications from Mitchell College in New London, CT Class of 2010.

On top of writing and comedy, Rob has a passion for music and 2012 began working on a side project which included his own alt/grunge style band doing small local tours.

Was accepted into the world renowned Groundlings program in West Hollywood. The Groundlings is known for being a training ground for SNL. Many famous SNL alum have come out of that program including: Phil Hartman, Jon Lovitz, and Will Ferrell.

Has appeared on Last Comic Standing (NBC) and StarTalk with Neil DeGrasse Tyson (NatGeo).

Based out of NYC, Rob Louis performs at comedy clubs around the country including: The Comedy Store, The Improv, Laugh Factory, Gotham, Comic Strip Live, Carolines, and many others.
