Biography

Veronika Payton is a writer, producer, director, composer, and musician known for her dynamic work in both narrative and documentary film. She frequently collaborates with Atun-Shei Films, Leah Shore, and MirrorGhost Films, blending her creative vision with a diverse range of storytelling styles. Her short film *Lady* premiered at the prestigious Max Ophus International Film Festival in Germany.

Veronika's first feature film as a producer and composer, *Ultimate World*, garnered critical acclaim, winning the acting prize and the audience award at the 2022 Kansas City Underground Film Festival. She has also contributed to the production team of the celebrated transgender opera documentary *The Sound of Identity*. In addition, Veronika produced the folk horror film *The Sudbury Devil*, working alongside director Andrew Rakich and executive producer Tabitha King.

Veronika is also an actor and producer for the web series *Checkmate Lincolnites* and *Frozen 50's Man*, both featured on the Atun-Shei Films YouTube channel. She is composer and associate producer for the documentary *Kinetosaur: The Legacy of John Payne*.

In addition to her work in film, Veronika is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. She is a member of the rock groups Augra Nowhere, Pluto Rouge, and The Most Ever Company Intergalactic Research Dankestra. Her musical collaborations span a wide variety of artists, including MZZTR, Static Cathedral, Along Came Paully, Peelander Z, and Leah Shore, further showcasing her versatile artistic talents.
