Biography

Aria Publicover is a Canadian-born actor who started working professionally when she was 8. She made her film debut at eight in Trailer Park Boys: The Movie. She consistently worked throughout her youth. Credits include Haven, Seed, Mr. D, and the Award-Winning Weirdos, which premiered at TIFF. In her career she's worked opposite of Meghan Ory, John Reardon, Lucy DeCoutere, and Gerry Dee.

Aria trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AOS in Acting). Afterward, as she loves to learn, she studied with top NYC coaches, including Anthony Abeson and James Brill. Putting aside technique and scene study classes, she’s also taken improv at UCB and screenwriting at NYU. She’s performed in two off-Broadway productions, The Deepest Breath (Alvin Ailey, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center) and Girl Gone: or Before a League of Their Own (Actors Temple). However, her two Hallmark film roles are her most well- known credits. She’s a sucker for a story that has a happy ending.

Aria is also a writer and producer who has fully developed two original pieces. Her One-act play, The Maid, received press from Yahoo News, The Irish Examiner, and CBC. Aria’s last project, Germaphobe, was written and produced by her.
