- Born in the south of Austria in 1986 to an Austrian father and Austro-Yugoslavian mother, Mercedes Springer began taking piano and dance lessons at the tender age of 3 as an outlet for her abundant energy and enthusiasm. She started her career working as a child model and theatre extra in the local theatre, Stadttheater Klagenfurt.
At the age of ten, Mercedes landed her first starring role in the world premiere of the musical - "Surprise" in Ischgl, Tyrol in 1997. In 2009, she graduated from Schauspielschule Krauss, Vienna while acting on stage in different off-productions around the country.
To polish her acting skills in the English language she later traveled to Los Angeles, California to take classes with the renowned Stella Adler Studio of Acting & Theatre. She then went on to earn her stripes performing all over Austria and Los Angeles as an actress, singer, dancer, and performance artist.
Her work to date includes theatre acting, voice-over acting, presenting on various radio stations, dance, performance, presenting, writing and songwriting.
