Kirby Howell-Baptiste, often know mononymously as simply, Kirby, is a British actress who is best known for her memorable roles in film and television. Kirby has also lent her voice to a number of animated shows. In addition to her success as an actor, Kirby is a writer, producer and director.

Born in London, England.

Before pursuing acting full-time, taught circus arts at a summer camp, specializing in Spanish Web, flying trapeze, and static trapeze.

Discovered her passion for acting at around age 10 while attending the Anna Scher Theatre's after-school program in North London.

Is the author of two children's books, Little Black Girl and Little Black Boy, which focus on empowerment, joy, and self-love.
