Biography

Jesse Dorian was born, and raised in New Braunfels, Texas. He is the son of Theresa Ladshaw Davis, and iconic San Antonio artist, Jesse Treviño. His grandfather, Archie Ladshaw, was the president of Spoetzl Brewery (Shiner Beer) (1968-1984), and was also the founder, owner, operator, and president of Ladshaw Explosives Inc.

With 7 feature screenplays ('Donavan Emery, The Android & Himself,' 'Sven,' 'As Scared As You,' 'The Four Of Us Are Dying,' 'Morituriosis,' 'She's Never Coming Back,' 'A Close Divide') and 1 TV Series ('Sly') circulating through film festival competitions since 2022, Jesse Dorian has generally ignored play-it-safe recommendations in regard to conventionalism. Instead opting for concepts that take sizable risks, introducing protagonists who aren't what they seem, and offering fresh and original narratives led by relatable villains, and likable antiheroes that regularly challenge the audiences' perception of right and wrong; and their overall generalization of good and evil. Altogether, Dorian's screenplays have accumulated over 1,230 film festival accolades, including over 500 award wins.

In 2002, when he was 15, he received a Filmmaking for Teens Part-Time Studies Certificate of Completion at Vancouver Film School in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Dorian later studied Radio/Television/Film, and Psychology at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas.

In 2017, he started the industrial goth pop/rock/metal project Imitate Invertebrate, along with their first release, the EP double-single, 'Deviant/Just Die Already.'

In 2022, he started an e-commerce and apparel store, LostScorpion.
