John X. Carey is a Los Angeles-based director and DGA Award nominee for Best Commercial Director. His work spans viral short films on impactful subjects like education, immigration, and the AIDS crisis in Zambia. Carey directed the iconic Dove 'Real Beauty Sketches' campaign, along with numerous celebrated commercials, earning over 30 Cannes Lions throughout his career. He has also directed Awayy, a short film that premiered at SXSW.
