Studied television production at the Glasgow Metropolitan College (now City of Glasgow College) with Andy S. McEwan, Mark D. Ferguson, David J.B. Craig, Chris Quick, Chris Gayne, Allan McClure, Findlay Marks, Blaine Thompson, Scott Kemp and Les Armstrong.
