Eli Haligua

Emmy Award-nominated, multi-award-winning sound designer Eli Haligua began his career at an independent radio station and carried that foundation into film, where his work has expanded to include projects across Canada, Türkiye, the UK, and the US.
As a Supervising Sound Editor and Re-recording Mixer, Eli's soundscapes have been featured at major international film festivals, including Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, Montreal, Karlovy Vary, Sarajevo, Sitges, and SXSW.
Eli graduated with honours from SAE Sound Engineering School and later earned a Master's Degree in Sound Technologies at Bahcesehir University, where his thesis explored how Dolby Atmos has shaped the work of sound designers in Türkiye. He also studied Digital Music Production at Langara College, broadening his creative approach.
