Biography

Gabriel Sandu is a film and theatre writer and director, with previous experience in acting and journalism. Sandu's passionate about the docu-fiction genre, often using investigative journalism tools to document the themes of his creations, later resorting to fiction to explore diverse performative dimensions.

His theatre plays have been translated into English, French, Hungarian, Portuguese, and Greek, and his performances have been selected in several national and international festivals. As a film director he worked on a short fiction film, Dislocated, presented in Transilvania International Film Festival and on an documentary about narcissistic abuse called Egotrip.
