Biography

Jason Ruch (born in 1973) is an American music producer and sound mixing engineer who is known in the dark rock and metal genre for his work. Jason has also worked within several other musical genres, including pop and electronic music. Jason works out of his own studio, 0x1 Sound, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Jason Ruch has worked professionally in the music recording industry for the past 15 years. He has worked as a recording and mixing engineer, audio editor, music producer, and sound designer. He has assisted on, produced, recorded, and designed music for record labels, large corporations, national commercials, independent films, Internet sites, and theme parks.

In addition to working with musical acts, Jason is very well known in the Horror Attraction industry for his unique sound design work. His company, Audio Zombie, provides the horror industry with over-the-top sound effects and musical compositions. His work can be found pouring out of the sound systems from some of the top haunted attractions and animatronics companies throughout the world. He has also composed music and effects for many independent films, a few of which won film festival awards for sound. Jason has also created a whole line of sound effect libraries under his Audio Zombie brand.
